To celebrate 40 years of transforming the lives of disabled children MERU is throwing open the doors to our engineering workshops to anyone who would like to find out more about the charities incredible work and have a bit of fun in the process.
On Fri 5th July from 11am-3pm we will be holding a Professionals Open Day for people who would like to visit MERU as part of their working day. Visitors will be able to explore our workshops and discover more about how we design and build our unique equipment – and even have a go at making some yourself.
Then on Saturday 6th July when we will be having a Family Fun Day with all the same activities listed above inside our workshops plus outside we will have live music, food & refreshments, stalls, tombola’s & cake sales and our favourite Dalek, Elsie will be on hand to squirt people with water as well as other fun activities and entertainment. Visitors will still be able to discuss equipment ideas with MERU’s Engineers as well to enjoy a great day out.
