This year will see MERU celebrating our 40th Birthday and we are planning a year of activities to celebrate all the disabled children we have been able to help.
Our founders Trefor Bowen and Bill Bond actually started meeting at the end of the 60’s, so we have really been designing equipment for disabled children for more than 40 years – but according to a battered invitation on the wall in our office, we opened our first building in July 1973, so we have decided to use this year to celebrate.
We are planning activities all year long and would dearly like to contact anyone who has links with MERU in the past including ex-staff, past volunteers and of course the many thousands of disabled children MERU has designed equipment for.
