One of MERU’s beneficiaries Lauren Sullivan brought her Olympic Torch in to MERU to show the team as a thank you.
Lauren carried the torch down Carshalton High Street on Mon 23rd July.
Several years ago we made Lauren some back rests to help her sit more comfortably at school and since then her entire family have become MERU supporters: her mum is an Associate Member, and her Grandfather recommended us to the Surrey Masonic Lodge who will be making a donation in September.
Lauren and her mum were also present at our Royal visit in June.
