Monty – Trombone mount for music stand (1903)
Monty is a helpful moustache-shaped bracket that will hold a trombone on a stand whilst it is being
played. This is particularly useful to support the weight of the instrument and hold it in a set position if the player finds doing either of these things difficult.
The Monty fits onto the Millenium Cymbal Stands CB-801, CS-901, and CB-901 which are available separately from Thomann.de by following these links:
Monty has been tested with (and fits) the following Jupiter Trombones (which can be found on the Stentor website at this link www.stentor-music.com/brands/jupiter/:
JTB500Q, JTB700Q, JTB700SQ,
JTB700V, JTB700VS, JTB700VR,
JTB1100Q, JTB1100SQ, and JTB1100RQ
Monty has been developed in partnership with the OHMI trust, a UK-based charity pioneering the development and adaptation of musical instruments for people who are physically disabled. For more information please visit www.ohmi.org.uk
MERU would like to thank Stentor Music for their support in the development of Monty.
